This calculator follows BODMAS (also called PEMDAS) order of operations. For example:
2 + 3 * 4 = 14 (not 20, multiplication before addition) (2 + 3) * 4 = 20 (brackets evaluated first) 2 ^ 3 + 1 = 9 (exponent before addition) 10 / 2 * 5 = 25 (left to right for equal precedence)
