Ukraine applies a standard VAT rate of 20% to most goods and services. To add VAT, multiply the net price by 0.2000 and add it to the original amount. To remove VAT from aVAT-inclusive price, divide the gross amount by 1.2000.
For example, a net price of 100.00 in Ukraine carries 20.00 in VAT, for a gross total of 120.00. Note that many countries also apply reduced rates to essentials like food, books, or medicine — this calculator uses the standard rate.
